Our client is seeking to open a new role in the Winnipeg office of a Business Development Manager. This role is not only exciting but will ensure you go home each night knowing you have made a difference in a family and individuals’ life.
Our client focuses on a balanced care plan that promotes a healthy mind, body and spirit of individuals needing home care assistance whether in care of at home.
Using the magic of referrals, meeting with families, networking groups, events and community committees you will be expanding the interest and bringing in new clients who need this service.
- Building and maintaining relationships with referral sources in the community to generate brand awareness and new clients
- Building priority lists and advancing relationships
- Responding to prospective client inquiries and ensuring they receive the information they need in order to move forward.
- Conducting assessments with prospective clients as needed, addressing their questions and concerns, building relationships with their families and converting them into long-term clients
- Communicating effectively within the team to ensure that our care plans meet the clients’ needs, that stakeholders and referral sources are satisfied, and that relevant information is communicated in an effective and timely manner
- Providing after-hours support for referral partners, prospective clients, and active clients
- Serving as a back-up to the care management team to participate in client care, assessments, home visits, and call rotation as needed
- Identifying new opportunities to enhance our reputation or build our referral base, helping to implement new programs and initiatives, and helping us to identify talented new additions to our local team as appropriate
- Building the strength of our brand in the local market
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry of home care or similar considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness and team orientation
