Description:

As an Event Setup and Breakdown Staff member, you will be responsible for the physical preparation and teardown of event spaces. This role requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Location: Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON
Pay Rate: $19.23/hr +4% vacation pay

Dates Required: 
Wed 8/28/24 10pm to 4am
Sat 8/31/24 11pm to 4am


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the arrangement and installation of event equipment, including staging, lighting, audio-visual components, and furniture.
  • Set up event spaces according to the event plan, ensuring all layout and design specifications are met.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies and materials are in place prior to the event start time.
  • Efficiently dismantle and pack down event equipment, including staging, lighting, and furniture.
  • Clean and restore the event space to its original condition, removing all event-related materials.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stored or returned as required.
  • Assist with the removal of waste and recycling materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs and move equipment, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions if applicable.
