Insurance Broker

Our St. Vital client is seeking an Autopac /Personal Lines Broker to work permanently full-time in their brokerage. Advancement is always available.

Location/Hours

• St. Vital office, on bus route.
•  Monday to Friday

Duties:

- Handle Autopac and Driver Licensing transactions.
- Manage a book of Personal Lines clients, including new business, renewals, and endorsements.
- Provide Travel Insurance services.
- Interact with clients, underwriters, and suppliers as needed.
- Process new business.
- Handle renewals and changes.
- Manage payments.
- Maintain the renewal contact calendar (phone/mail/email/text).
Personal Lines will include Home, Condo, Tenants, Watercraft & Travel/Health:
- Set up and maintain client information in the broker software management system.
- Track and manage the renewal process.
- Process policy changes.
- Issue binders and policy documents.
- Prepare invoices and letters.
- Arrange premium financing.
- Develop new business opportunities and leads.
- Attend industry and broker functions.

Must Haves: 

- Level 2 General Insurance License preferred.
- Certified Autopac On-Line Operator.
- CAIB, CIP, or CRM designation is an asset.
- 2 years’ experience in personal lines broking.
