Description:

Our Burnaby based client is looking for Inventory Clerk to join their team immediately. This full-time role is an ongoing contract position with the goal of becoming permanent after 600 hours worked. This is a great team who are looking for another great fit.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile inventory and perform daily counts
  • Manage all cycle counts of various goods 
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on inventory discrepancies
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to maintain inventory
  • Effectively manage material handling equipment, scanners, pallets, etc
  • Aim to improve the control, accuracy, and maintenance of the inventory
  • Post various production information and resolve issues using SAP
  • Issue weekly/period end reports on inventory
  • Take on additional responsibilities as directed
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company rules
  • Make sure that safe food handling practices are being followed

Who We’re Looking For

  • Similar Inventory Analysis experience
  • Experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education
  • Strong computer skills (i.e. MS applications, Email, etc)
  • Proven SAP Knowledge
  • Able to climb, stand, or walk for long periods of time
  • Role may also include reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Able to work a variety of shifts as they are a 24/7 operation
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check
