Our Burnaby based client is looking for Inventory Clerk to join their team immediately. This full-time role is an ongoing contract position with the goal of becoming permanent after 600 hours worked. This is a great team who are looking for another great fit.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile inventory and perform daily counts
- Manage all cycle counts of various goods
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on inventory discrepancies
- Work with the Quality Assurance team to maintain inventory
- Effectively manage material handling equipment, scanners, pallets, etc
- Aim to improve the control, accuracy, and maintenance of the inventory
- Post various production information and resolve issues using SAP
- Issue weekly/period end reports on inventory
- Take on additional responsibilities as directed
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines and company rules
- Make sure that safe food handling practices are being followed
Who We’re Looking For
- Similar Inventory Analysis experience
- Experience in a food service environment an asset
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Strong computer skills (i.e. MS applications, Email, etc)
- Proven SAP Knowledge
- Able to climb, stand, or walk for long periods of time
- Role may also include reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Able to work a variety of shifts as they are a 24/7 operation
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check
