Maintenance Technician - Non ticketed -
Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general building and equipment maintenance for continuity of production (machines, etc.,) with no loss of time.
Duties include: HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and equipment. He / She will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the business goals and objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
? Work according to a planned preventive maintenance program regarding machines, systems, equipment in order to reduce breakdown time
? Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
? Familiar with programming and maintenance of CNC equipment (Mecal is preferred)
? Perform mechanic skills, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
? Assist operators or employees in the repair of production equipment
? Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
? Move machinery, setup or install
? Maintain good housekeeping practices in work area using the 5s + 1 principle
? Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives
? Location, shifts, duties and responsibilities may be amended from time to time in order to support efficient company operations
Overtime and 24/7 availability may be required
? Requires good manual dexterity and the ability to work with a variety of equipment and tools
? Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry objects, and manipulate objects of up to 45 lbs for 50 feet
? Mandatory use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. hard-hat, safety boots, etc.)
? Hazards associated with the industry and trade, such as: working indoors and outdoors, at times in the confined space; exposure to dust, chemicals, heat and humidity
? Travel to suppliers of products and supplies
? Shortlisted candidates must pass an entry-level test

Starting wage $17-18 hour till probation ends: $28.23/hr with increases up to $33.96 based on performance
