Material Handler

Job Description

Our client located in Winnipeg is looking for a Material Handler. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, positive, energetic, and be able to cope with a busy workload. This is the perfect role for someone getting started in their career and looking to grow.

This is a temp-to-hire position that will go permanent for the right individual. Wage could increase up to $19.00/hr after probation!

Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order picking and forklift
• Sidelift operation
• Assisting with clean up
• Some heavy lifting and loading
• Enter and extract orders

Requirements:

• Forklift experience
• Sidelift experience an asset
• Experience in a Warehouse environment
• Ability to read clearly
• Computer literate
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to work full time, Monday to Friday (must be open to working evenings)
• Steeltoed (PPE) boots mandatory
• Background in metals an asset
• Driver's license and vehicle as bus access is limited
• Clear criminal record check
