Description:
Staffmax is currently seeking a Office Supervisor or Manager with Level II insurance. 
The Manager/Supervisor is responsible for staff scheduling including ensuring coverage for vacation, and other absences for their location, as well as cooperating with other locations regarding staffing coverage. 
 
The Manager/Supervisor will work with Human Resources as necessary regarding staffing and employee relations.
 
The Supervisor will work closely with the appointed manager as necessary regarding any Insurance Issues that may arise.
 
Job Duties
  • Provide appropriate insurance products and services based on customer needs, in accordance with the insurance companies’ standards
  • Gather all necessary information for the completion of documentation required, and verify for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and communicate all policy documentation, letters, certificates, binders of insurance, endorsements and renewals in an accurate and timely manner
  • Contact customers regarding annual renewals, gather all relevant information necessary to make changes if required
  • Assist customers with account-related requests
  • Provide information about available payment options
  • Complete claim information and communicate/liaise with insurance company
  • Research and resolve customer concerns
  • Process necessary paperwork and update computer system in a timely manner
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services
  • Attend Operations Meetings
  • Coordinate scheduling for location, work with other locations and/or corporate office regarding scheduling issues (vacation, emergencies, etc.)
  • Provide training as necessary for new employees
  • Ensure employee understanding of company policies and procedures
  • Submit timesheet for department on or before the cut-off
  • Strive to minimize staff turnover by providing a positive work environment
  • In conjunction with HR, assist with recruitment, training, assignment of duties, performance evaluations, and employee relations
  • Ensure sufficient supplies/equipment for efficient operation of location
  • Ensure balancing and bank deposits are done in timely manner (including petty cash)
  • Run reports (example – Expiry reports)
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
 ·         Level 2 Insurance Broker License
