5-Ton Truck Driver – Full Time
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour (depending on experience)
Staffmax is currently hiring a 5-Ton Truck Driver for one of our valued clients in the delivery and logistics industry. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced and reliable driver who takes pride in their work and provides excellent customer service.
About the Role
The ideal candidate is responsible, hardworking, and customer-focused, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. This role involves collecting, transporting, and safely delivering freight to designated locations while representing the client in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations using a company-provided 5-ton truck

Follow assigned routes and strict delivery schedules

Load, unload, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle safely

Complete required logs and delivery documentation

Perform additional duties during downtime, including general shop and common area cleaning, grounds maintenance when required, and end-of-day tasks to ensure the facility is organized and ready for the next day
Skills & Requirements

Proven experience driving a 5-ton truck (required)

Experience driving in Winnipeg and surrounding areas is an asset

Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Clean driving record; driver’s abstract required

Ability to operate a vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to safely handle heavy and awkwardly shaped pallets

Must have a smartphone with a working camera

Previous warehouse experience is an asset
