Position: AZ/DZ Driver – Tile & Flooring Distribution
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Location: Toronto
Employment Type: Permanent/Full-Time (as per assignment)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ/DZ Driver to join our tile and flooring distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of tile, flooring materials, and related products to residential, commercial, and construction sites. This role involves physical work, customer interaction, and strict adherence to transportation and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate AZ or DZ class vehicles safely to transport tile, flooring, and building materials

Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling

Secure cargo to prevent damage during transit

Complete local and regional deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks

Ensure proper delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures

Communicate professionally with customers, site supervisors, and dispatch

Follow all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations and company safety policies

Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

Assist warehouse staff when not on delivery routes, as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid AZ driver’s license (DZ acceptable if AZ unavailable) with a clean driving abstract

1–3 years of commercial driving experience; experience delivering construction materials or heavy freight is an asset

Ability to lift and handle heavy materials (tiles, boxes, pallets)

Forklift certification or experience preferred (training may be provided)

Strong knowledge of local and regional routes

Excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills
