Job Description
Position: Accounting Assistant & Reception
Location: Mental Health Clinic
Hours: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. (flexible shifts may be required)
Term: This role will begin as a 3 month contract until the candidate is hired on permanently
Duties:
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including managing financial records and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare and issue invoices and manage accounts payable.
- Generate and analyze financial reports as needed.
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide reception support, including greeting clients and answering phone calls.
- Schedule and manage client appointments.
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
- Occasionally taking minutes and setting agendas for board meetings
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Experience with Payworks is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
