Job Description
Position: Accounting Assistant & Reception
Location: Mental Health Clinic
Hours: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. (flexible shifts may be required)
Term: This role will begin as a 3 month contract until the candidate is hired on permanently

Duties:

  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including managing financial records and reconciling accounts.
  • Prepare and issue invoices and manage accounts payable.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports as needed.
  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide reception support, including greeting clients and answering phone calls.
  • Schedule and manage client appointments.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
  • Occasionally taking minutes and setting agendas for board meetings

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Experience with Payworks is an asset.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
