Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced AP clerk to process expense claims. This individual will be checking receipts, reviewing mileage, travel related expenses and signing authority. Communicating with employees and invoice data entry duties are also required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and verification of invoices and payment requests
  • Processing of weekly payments
  • Sorting, coding, and matching invoices
  • Entry of invoices into an electronic system
  • Tracking and processing of expense reports of various tenders, including major credit card and staff expense reports
  • Preparation and processing of electronic transfers and payments
  • Posting of transactions to journals, ledgers, and similar records
  • Reconciliation of accounts payable transactions
  • Account analysis as requested
  • Research and resolution of discrepancies and other issues pertaining to invoices
  • Preparation and submission of supporting documentation for audits

Requirements:

  • 2 years experiences in Accounts Payable
  • Proficiency with accurate, efficient data entry and data management
  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork
  • SAP is an asset
  • Strict confidentiality
