One of our client is looking to hire 3 Accounts Payable clerks. This is a temporary and a remote position for 3-4 months.
Rate of Pay- $ 50,000 – 55,000/-
Term: Temporary for 4 months
• 3 to 5 years business experience in a computerized environment with knowledge of Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions.
• Post-secondary education preferably in Finance/Accounting
• Knowledge of working with AS400
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to establish priority and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Possess a keen attention to detail and strive towards service excellence
• Self-motivated with the ability to consistently show initiative
• Effective team player
• Ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices
• Monitor vendor terms to ensure discounts are taken correctly
• Ensure all PO’s pricing and quantities discrepancies are followed up with Merchandising and Inventory control departments.
• Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up on vendors inquiries
• Ensure all expense invoices are coded and processed timely according to FAMM
• Reconciliation and processing of Intercompany statements and Invoices
• Reconciliation of weekly Central Billing statements.
• Process of EDI invoices.
• Preparation and process of debit notes.
• Other related duties as assigned.
