Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Assistant to support their finance and operations functions. This part-time, remote contract is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured work, is comfortable with invoicing and data, and can communicate confidently with suppliers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and responding to emails

  • Data entry and maintaining accurate documentation

  • Preparing, editing, and pulling reports

  • Creating and processing invoices

  • Validating and approving supplier invoices

  • Applying General Ledger coding

  • Auditing, coding, and approving transactions in the AP system

  • Reviewing bills of lading and related paperwork

  • Reporting and assisting with claims, including freight claims

  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve issues or discrepancies

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administrative or accounts payable experience is an asset

  • Comfortable working in Excel and generating basic reports

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Able to work independently in a remote environment

Equipment

Our client will provide a laptop, monitor, and printer if needed.
