Staffmax is assisting our Ottawa based client in the hiring of a temporary Administrative Assistant in their Downtown office. This term is expected to last 4 weeks.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Monitoring and recording staff attendance
  • Taking and routing incoming calls
  • Processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Typing and proofreading correspondence
  • Entry of data into spreadsheets
  • Physical and electronic filing

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required
  • Experience working in an administrative/clerical position in an office setting is required
  • Experience working with spreadsheets is required
  • An aptitude for verbal and written communication is a strong asset
