Our Delta near Langley, British Columbia client is seeking a Administrative Operations Coordinator

This position is to assist the Director of Operations in a Manufacturing Production facility. 

With your outstanding energy, advanced Excel and MS Office skills and top-notch business writing abilities you will allow the Director to be more successful 

This role is very similar to a Project Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Maintains strict confidentiality at all times
  • Attending meetings 
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with contractors, suppliers, staff and management
  • Execute emails, letters, mail and couriers
  • Maintaining Director of Operations file system
  • Prepares spreadsheets using Macros and formulas entering in KPIs, costing etc
  • Liaise with all departments and is first point of contact to the Director
  • Works with ISO and continuously improves  procedures (SOP) and instructions (WIs) including QA adherence

Qualifications to be successful: 

 

  • Degree or certificate in operations, project management, business administration or office administration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in this level or authority
  • Tech-Savvy
  • Advanced (will be tested) MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP software with SAP Business One an asset
  • Logistics an asset
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent proofreading and communication skills
