Location: Clarence Ave, Winnipeg, MB
Pay Rate: $19–$21/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2–3 months
Travel: None required
Hours of operation: 7:30am to 4pm
Essential Functions (in order of importance)
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update information in databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems.
- Documentation: Organize, file, and maintain both physical and digital records, reports, and documents.
- Workers Compensation Support: Submit online workers compensation claims through insurance provider (US only).
- Scheduling: Coordinate respirator safety training and fit testing sessions.
- Meeting Support: Take minutes and update logs for Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings at MCI Winnipeg.
- General Administrative Support: Assist the EHS Manager with various administrative tasks.
Experience / Knowledge (Required)
- Administrative experience, ideally in an EHS or HR environment
- Experience with data entry and reporting
Specific Job Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SharePoint databases
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
