Staffmax is currently looking for a fabricator to join their client’s team in the aerospace industry in Winnipeg’s Inkster Industrial Park area.
What’s the Role? Performing difficult hand or machine sheet metal operations to form, fit, fabricate, and repair a variety of complicated developmental aerospace details, parts, assemblies, and related tools.
Where: Winnipeg, MB – Inkster Industrial Park
When: Monday to Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Wage/Salary: $22-28 /hr – Pending Experience
Job Type: Temporary with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do:
- Complex sheet metal fabrication; must be precise!
- Work from operation sheets, drawings/sketches, and specification
- fabricate complex major assemblies which involve sheet metal operations & techniques
- Other duties as assigned within the job scope.
Who You Are:
- Mechanically & technically inclined
- Able to work from complicated drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions
- Can maintain & follow all company policies for safety & tool control
- Experience working with various metals including but not limited to titanium, waspalloy, hastelloy, mild and stainless steels, aluminum, and nickel alloys
