Agricultural Labourer

Staffmax is assisting our Portage la Prairie client with the hire of several seasonal Agricultural Labourers to assist during their busy season. This full-time temporary role is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, subject to extension.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Field collection of specific plants, according to established procedure
• Threshing, bagging, and tagging seed products in a laboratory environment
• Preparing numbered and counted seed samples according to established procedure in a laboratory environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Steel-toed boots are required for this role.
• You must be available to work full-time hours for the duration of this contract, approximately 6 weeks
• You must be comfortable working outdoors
• You must be comfortable doing precise, methodical work in a controlled environment, according to written procedure, at a fast pace.
