Staffmax is hiring Application Support Analysts to work for our client, a leading global IT consulting firm. This is a full-time, permanent position. In this role, you will be primarily working with banks and other major financial institutions. Requirements Ø IT experience in Application/Product support in Production and Non Prod environmentsØ Openshift Container Platform experience. Ø Messaging tools like Kafka. Ø Experience in support, maintenance or development of REST, SOAP based application. Ø Hands on experience with Unix Ø Good working knowledge on SQL. Ø Good knowledge of DB Objects and experience in query preparation and execution. Ø Good experience in log analysis, troubleshooting production and non-prod issues. Ø Should be adept with ITIL Service Operations methodologies (Incident, Problem and Change Management) Ø Should have experience with Service management tools like ServiceNow, Jira. Ø Should have experience in maintaining and creating knowledge articles, PRPs and other support related documentation in knowledge base. Ø Knowledge of ZEKE batch scheduler or any other job scheduler tool Ø Knowledge of Devops tools would be good to have. .(GIT, UCD) Job Functions Ø Automation of monitoring, recurring work with any scripting language. Ø Experience in supporting Java and .Net applications. Additional Comments Ø Provide application support during business hours Ø Provide on call support after business hours to correct any critical / time sensitive issues impacting the application. Ø Resolving Incidents and attending to daily operation requests Ø Investigation and resolution of production problems & Service Requests (diagnosis, testing & documentation) Ø Troubleshooting and coordinating resolution Ø Root Cause Analysis and Application Fixes using problem management process. Ø Provide on-going monitoring services for all critical hardware, software and all application components. Ø Enhance monitoring service depending upon the alerts received and automate the resolutions Ø Health Checks and Automation Ø Monitoring of Critical Batch Processes Ø Prepare application release packages in co-ordination with application development team Ø Submit change requests required for deployment/implementation team Ø Obtain approvals and submit application release packages for deployment/implementation Ø Follow DevOps processes Ø Scripted Automation of Repetitive Manual activities (health checks, manual status reporting, etc.) Ø Updating the OMS documentation Ø Run Book automation Ø Knowledge Management Ø SLA and KPI reporting Sound like a fit?
