Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is on the lookout for a creative, experienced Architect to join our growing Real Estate Development Company in Winnipeg, Manitoba. What You’ll Be Doing
- Meet with clients to understand project goals, spatial needs, and design preferences
- Translate design concepts into technical drawings and detailed plans that meet all building codes and regulations
- Lead projects through all stages – from initial concept and design development to documentation, construction oversight, and close-out
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and resolve emerging challenges
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to maintain design integrity during the build process
- Contribute to proposals and presentations that support business growth and client acquisition
- Integrate sustainable practices and current material innovations into architectural designs
What You Bring
- Strong drafting and 3D modeling skills
- Project leadership experience, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
- Quick conceptual sketching skills that support early-stage idea development
- Experience with adaptive reuse or renovations of existing buildings is considered an asset
- Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate design intent to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Passion for design excellence with a practical mindset and a solution-focused approach
Position Details
- Must hold a Masters in Architecture and in good standing
- Full-time role based in a collaborative environment
- Suitable for professionals with 5+ years of experience in architectural practice in Canada
- Ideal candidate will be registered or eligible for registration with a provincial architectural association
