Job Description

Staffmax is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer for a project in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing safety guards on conveyor belts using hand tools and basic equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install guards on conveyor belt systems.

• Use hand tools, hand drills and measuring tapes to complete assembly work.

• Measure, align and secure components according to specifications.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience using hand tools and power drills.

• Ability to accurately use a measuring tape.

• Experience with assembly or mechanical work is an asset.

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to perform physical labour and stand for extended periods.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday

• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• 10-hour shifts

• $20.00 per hour
