Our client is seeking a Property Manager Assistant to handle the day-day management of Condo buildings and operations
$50K to $55K yearly + Benefits
Location: Scarborough, ON
Responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager to handle day-to-day management of the Condominium Buildings and operation of corporation administration
- Coordinate and oversee all property maintenance
- Provide advice and guidance to the Property Manager, Owners and the Board of Directors, and, Owner’s resident tenants as required
- Supervise and organize all contractors and contractor work; provide feedback on contractor performance, delivering results in the most efficient way within a reasonable budget,
- Provide emergency on-call after-hours service
- Attend evening Board Meetings and Special Meetings and Owners’ Meetings as required
- Act as liaison person between the Board of Directors, all owners and the Property Management company
- Other duties as assigned as described in the Property Management Agreement
Qualifications
- Limited Licensed with CMRAO
- Has completed minimum 2 out of 4 ACMO courses
- Superior and effective Owner services and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 1 year condo management experience (or, 2-3 years rental experience)
- Strong organizational, communication and time management skills
- Familiar and solid understanding of the Ontario Condominium Act and other laws & practices related to condominium corporation operations
- Ability and commitment to professionally maintain all operations records, documents and assets of the corporation
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office and basic Property Management Systems) a must
