Staffmax is pleased to assist our Winnipeg HO client with acquiring a permanent full time Member Services Benefit Administrator caring for clients and their families with problem solving solutions
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the care of and problem solving for our clients’ employees and their families.
- Key team member who applies related experience in client service, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
- Frontline, and makes a difference for both our clients and their plan members across Canada every day.
- Ascertain the nature of incoming calls and emails and respond accordingly.
- Professionally greet and direct clients and plan members.
- Advocate for and assist plan members and their families with questions about their coverage or claims adjudication; including disability management.
- Troubleshoot problem claims with plan members.
- Work with our insurer partners toward mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Become a trusted and relied upon partner to our clients’ HR Team.
- Provide general administrative support such as typing, data entry, photocopying, filing, etc. to the team, as needed.
Must Haves to Succeed:
- 3 years experience with, Group Life and Health concepts, benefits and best practices, including self-insured arrangements, pooling arrangements, Multi-Employer trusts and flexible benefits programs
- CSR experience
- Experience in Pension service is an asset
Compensation and Benefits:
- $45-55,000
- 15 days off for vacation, plus time off at Christmas/New Years, Long weekend in the summer and personal days
- Encourage education/upgrading and training
