Join our clients Dynamic Team as a Senior Building Operator in Downtown Calgary!
Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We're on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Building Operator to oversee a state-of-the-art 32-storey commercial skyscraper, 426,000 sq. foot commercial with some retail building.

WHAT WE OFFER
 
  • $75-85,000 depending on your experience
  • Monday – Friday
  • 7-3 PM rotate each week 8-4 PM, after training (3 months) on call - paid
  • 3 weeks of vacation per year
  • 3 paid personal days per year

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Lead the charge in maintaining all building systems, including cutting-edge chillers, boilers, and air-handling units.
- Conduct water treatment testing to keep heating and cooling systems running at peak performance.
- Optimize and troubleshoot the DDC system, ensuring seamless operation across the board.
- Deliver comprehensive tour and inspection reports, and champion WHMIS, environmental, health, and safety programs.
- Drive energy efficiency initiatives, making a tangible impact on our sustainability goals.
- Execute preventive maintenance using the advanced Angus PM system, including filter and belt replacements, motor lubrication, and equipment cleaning.
- Perform essential demand maintenance and repairs on key systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Enforce all Corporate OH&S policies, fostering a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Keep meticulous records and schedules for all compliance testing and inspections.
- Manage tenant work orders via the Angus TR system, ensuring top-notch satisfaction with building operations.
- Maintain detailed logs, checklists, and inspection reports to uphold our high standards.
- Supervise contractors, always ensuring pristine cleanliness and top-tier housekeeping.
- Collaborate with contractors to complete tasks efficiently and procure estimates for upcoming projects.
- Ensure team-wide adherence to health and safety policies by actively participating in the H&S committee.
- Embrace other exciting challenges as they arise.

MUST HAVES:

- Over 5 years of experience in commercial property management operations.
- 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certification
- Expertise in Building HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, BAS Systems, and Life Safety Systems.
- Building Automation a must
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong commitment to sustainability and energy management.
