Pay Rate- $60- $64/hr
Location Address: – hybrid – 2x/week onsite for now
Contract Duration: ASAP to 10/31/2023
Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

The main function of the Senior Technical Business Analyst role is to support investigation, development, testing and operationalization of data solutions related to strategic goals of the Data Office.

Typical Day in Role:
•Experience working in data management and can provide hands-on support on the implementation according to Data Office playbooks, guidelines, standards, and policies (e.g., documenting initiatives, use cases, data tiering and classification, critical data elements and business data elements)
•Performs any necessary data mapping and data lineage activities and documents information flows to support specific business requirements
•Performs data profiling, analyzes and communicates results in support of data quality processes
•Builds the metadata model and business glossary by gathering information from multiple sources: business users, existing data sources, databases and other relevant documents and systems
•Participates in knowledge transfer within the team, business units and provide recommendation opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team
•Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions.
•Work in an Agile mindset to accelerate the delivery of the project
•Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
•Assesses, researches, analyzes, and documents project needs and outcomes by selecting the appropriate information gathering and/or modelling technique to elicit requirements

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years of experience working on and understanding data concepts (data dictionary, business glossary, data governance) (examples: data schema, data modelling, data lineage) in FI
2) 5+ Experience in agile project methodology and artifacts, on software/application development lifecycle in an agile fashion
3) 10+ years of experience with business analysis processes, frameworks with documenting processes and data flows

4) Cloud platforms and related data services knowledge (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
5) 3+ years experience working with Collibra (strongly preferred) or Azure

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1)Excel Macros (example: KPIs, stats)
2)JIRA/Confluence

Soft Skills Required:
• Detail oriented and skilled in summarizing and provides insights from complicated processes
• Self-motivated to solve problems and able to work collaboratively with other team members
• Strong oral and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences
• Customer-result focused
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Education:
Strong technical education background, majoring in fields that require a high degree of analytical skills, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Statistics or related field
