Staffmax is currently looking for a Business Development Manager in Winnipeg to join our team

Where: Winnipeg

When: Monday to Friday, hours TBD

What You’ll Do:

  • Qualify leads from prior contacts, marketing campaigns, or previous placements
  • Develop a good understanding of client industries, their work culture, and environment
  • Contact potential clients via cold calls, LinkedIn, emails, or in-person visits
  • Develop various proposals for potential and/or current clients along with growth plans internally
  • Draft, negotiate, and review client contracts
  • Introduce our company to potential clients and the services we offer
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate services
  • Customize service solutions and pricing to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build or maintain long-term relationships with new and current clients
  • Offer advice to clients on pay rates, training, and career progression
  • Increase our client base through the above techniques and through your own research
  • Follow industry trends and target our clients based on current and future needs

Who You Are:

  • A self-starter who isn’t shy and takes initiative
  • Strong sales experience, staffing agency experience an asset
  • Understands and enjoys tight deadlines and challenges
  • Computer savvy with sound MS Office skills, CRM experience an asset
  • Excellent time management and delegation skills
  • Professional written and oral communication skills in English, French bilingual an asset
  • Thrives on pressure and teamwork
