Staffmax is seeking two CAD Administrators to provide onsite administrative and application-level support at the customer location.

Initially, the CAD Administrators will work closely with  project team to assist the customer in the configuration, training, and testing process during their implementation of the Versaterm Computer Aided Dispatch system. During this process, the CAD Administrators must become very proficient with the Versaterm CAD and Mobile applications, inclusive of its features, configurations, infrastructure, and troubleshooting process. The CAD Administrators must also gain a solid understanding of the customer’s dispatch, police, and fire operations.

Following the implementation process, the CAD Administrators will provide ongoing onsite administrative and application-level support. The duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing front-line application support 

  • Assisting the customer with ongoing application configuration, including mapping/GIS related

  • Submitting application issues to the Versaterm support team

  • Liaising with Versaterm and Customer technical SMEs, as required, to troubleshoot, and resolve issues

  • Evaluating, documenting, submitting, and tracking end-user product suggestions

  • Working closely with Customer to test and apply application updates

  • Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new product features

  • Assisting with ongoing end-user training

  • Assist with creating and maintaining customer-specific documentation relating to training, configuration, and use cases

  • Manage desktop/mobile device application installation/updates

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of systems implementation, application support, or software administration

  • Degree/Diploma in Management Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training

  • Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Experience working in a Public Safety (dispatch, police, fire, and/or EMS) environment is an asset.
