Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid (1 day/week), Toronto, Ontario, CA
Contract Duration: 6 months (Possible Extension to Full-Time Employment)
Schedule: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the success of the Oracle Migration project.
- Utilize SQL for data-driven analytics and research.
- Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications for development.
- Design and execute test cases ensuring compliance with business needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and technology teams.
- Resolve complex problems by analyzing business and technical aspects.
- Validate solutions and assist in deployment to production.
- Collaborate on global markets data analysis and accuracy checks.
- Support downstream reporting and report building efforts.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years' experience as a BA/BSA, including regression testing.
- Recent 3+ years' experience in Capital Markets technology.
- Proficiency in writing and designing SQL queries (intermediate to advanced level).
- Hands-on experience with SDLC, technical mappings, and data attributes.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with database upgrades.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
- Wallstreet FX experience is advantageous.
