Class 1 Driver

Required immediately, our local branch is seeking a temporary long haul driver to cover Winnipeg to Calgary.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Must have Current Class A commercial driver's license in good standing
• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 2 years experience with long haul driving (36' -- 53' long trailer)
• Able to provide drivers abstract, drug testing and criminal record checking
• Proficient in all Regulations and Compliance
• Ability to operate a Forklift a plus
• Physically able to moves 50 pounds

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all product loads onto and off of the truck
• Confirm all loads are strapped down accordingly
• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle and provide information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any report problems.
• Maintain vehicle’s interior and exterior appearance
• Other duties as assigned
