This position is responsible for client communication and initial coordination of all vehicle transportation orders and quotes. This position is focused on Fleet Manager relations with expertise and emphasis in support of vehicle transportation and logistics.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks: 

  • Support incoming/outgoing calls and emails pertaining to questions on quotes and orders 
  • Assist client reps on processing all orders and quote requests submitted by clients
  • Timely fulfillment and follow through of all related transactional duties to meet Service Level Agreements
  • Maintain, update, and distribute client specific order status reports on regularly scheduled basis
  • Monitor and update all in-repair orders, communicating with internal and external customers, as needed
  • Work in partnership with members of the team and inter-departmentally as needed in providing client support
  • Demonstrate mastery of industry best practices, internal business policies, resources and resolution procedure.

Core Competencies: 

  • 2+ years of experience in fleet management, transportation and/or automotive industries in client-facing roles preferred
  • Education level: Minimum of a two-year Associates Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Qualified experience may be substituted for education
  • Proficient with Microsoft Operating Platform and Microsoft Office suite
  • Outstanding customer service abilities to include professional phone manner and ability to maintain a high level of quality with every interaction
  • Must be able to manage stress levels during high volume periods and adapt to various personalities and stressful situations
  • Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize work and multi-task effectively, and ability to self-manage by prioritizing workflow
  • Attentiveness to detail and accuracy, with commitment to excellence and continuous process improvement
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide guidance while accomplishing departmental and company goals
  • Ability to think quickly to handle unique situations that may be encountered
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure with the ability to adjust in an ever changing and fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to effectively communicate with a wide range of client contacts from clerical to Executive level
