Description:

Our client, located in the Sage Creek area of Winnipeg, is looking for a Compensation Advisor to join their Human Resources team as soon as possible.

This role will help develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of organization-wide compensation programs. Advice and assistance to management and HR Business Partners on compensation matters will also be part of the role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, implement and maintain compensation programs
  • Providing guidance to HR Business Partners and leadership on compensation related issues
  • Lead job analysis, job evaluation and classification practices
  • Coordinate with HR team members on preparation of job descriptions and titles
  • Administer the various annual compensation programs
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of organizational policies and processes through compensation

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation with strong knowledge of performance management principles
  • CPHR, CPHR Candidate, or CCP/CMS designation a definite asset
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Strong analytic skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc)
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Clear criminal record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs and HRIS systems
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now an asset
