Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting in Winnipeg is seeking a Compliance Manager for our client in Manufacturing.

This role works within the legal and compliance department providing up to date and solution advice to departments within the organization. This role involves monitoring, implementation, design and audit ensuring standardization of procedures, processes and policies are adhered to and best practices are used at all times.

Must Haves to be Successful:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Certification with a compliance organization a strong asset
  • 5 years minimum experience in audit, compliance or risk internal auditing functions with management experience
  • Able to respond to research, compliance, analyzing data and recognizing risks while problem solving solutions
  • strong organizational, decision making skills
  • Superior work ethic and accountability
  • Maintain a regulatory compliance activity listing for each business and functional department
  • Preform routine and periodic assessments
  • Assist the legal and Compliance group in incidences and non-compliance activities with a goal to provide solutions
  • Regular reporting to senior executive team
