Construction Electrician

Job Description
Staffmax is hiring on behalf of our client, an industry-leading service provider within the fueling and energy infrastructure sector. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Electrician to join a growing team based in Saskatoon, SK.
In this role, you will support construction projects involving tank and piping installation and removal (above and underground) across Saskatchewan and surrounding regions. This position offers hands-on field work, travel opportunities, and the chance to work on diverse, large-scale projects.
Schedule & Compensation
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Summer schedule: Rotating 10-hour shifts (11–3 shift cycles)
- Wage range: High $30s to low $40s per hour (based on experience)
- Company truck provided for Electricians and Foremen
Key Responsibilities
- Execute project tasks as directed by Construction Leads and Project Managers
- Install, test, and commission equipment in accordance with regulations and specifications
- Collaborate with subcontractors across multiple disciplines (electrical, civil, excavation, concrete)
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
- Travel as required within Saskatchewan and Western Canada
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and professionalism on all job sites
- Perform physically demanding work in various outdoor conditions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Red Seal or Journeyman Electrician certification
- Licensed Petroleum Installer (considered an asset)
- 3–5 years of construction experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow direction in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and working extended hours when required
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
