Roofing Estimator

Location: Raleigh Rd, Narol, MB
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: $50,000–$70,000 per year (based on experience)

Staffmax is currently recruiting for a Roofing Estimator on behalf of our client in Narol, Manitoba. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong estimating, customer service, and sales skills who enjoys working directly with homeowners and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess roofing projects.
• Conduct roof inspections and take accurate measurements.
• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for roof repairs and replacements.
• Calculate material, labour, equipment, and disposal costs.
• Explain estimates, answer customer questions, and provide professional recommendations.
• Follow up with prospective customers and assist in closing sales opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure a smooth transition from estimate to project execution.
• Maintain accurate customer records, estimates, and project documentation.
• Stay current with roofing materials, installation methods, and local building codes.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience in roofing, construction, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and prepare detailed estimates.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with estimating software is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
