Staffmax is currently hiring an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our Landscape Construction team in Toronto (Scarborough). This is a full-time, work at the office position with benefits. The benefits include:

Salary- $70,000-$75,000 + Benefits + Bonus
Specific Responsibilities
- Input and obtain Utility Locate requests via Ontario One Call and manage their confirmation.
- Compile and organize completed Utility Locate packages into a spreadsheet for field staff distribution.
- Prepare all outgoing invoicing for the Construction Department.
- Follow up on Certification for Payment with consultants (e.g. architects, designers)
- Assist construction managers in the tender process and with proposals.
- Prepare and distribute daily water routes for the crews.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience coordinating Utility Locates.
- At least 2 years of experience with preparing invoices for construction projects.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with putting together tender documents and project proposals.
- Prior experience working in a landscape, construction or other project-based businesses is an asset.
- Proficiency in using Word, Excel and Microsoft Office is essential.
- Fluent in English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
- Excellent listening and verbal skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- A service-based philosophy of assisting others.
- A desire to continuously learn and improve.
- A bias for completing work on time with a high degree of quality.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
- A University degree would be an asset but not mandatory.
