Hours of operation: 8:30am to 4:30pm


Position Duties: 
Receptionists in this position are the first point of contact for the partner with the Department, Regional Health Authorities, the Government of Canada, 
the City of Winnipeg and/or rural municipalities, in delivering social services related programs and services to the general public.  

This includes responding to electronic, in-person, and telephone inquiries in both official  languages, providing administrative support to the Administrative Services Manager (AO1) and to 
on-site Information Specialists (AO2) as well as the BSC Manager (X04), and assisting clients with various tasks on the public computers. This position handles sensitive and confidential 
client information, therefore the incumbent must have a satisfactory criminal record and abuse 
checks. An excellent knowledge of  programs and services from public, non-profit, community-based, and government levels is a further expectation in this role. Additional financial 
and administrative responsibilities are assigned as required and may include processing invoices 
and expense claims, petty cash management, time keeping, and records file management.

Conditions of Employment: 
Must be fluent in French and in English
