Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is assisting our rural Southern Parklands Manitoba area in finding a skilled Financial Controller to relocate and join our team.
The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budget preparation, and analysis. - Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger - Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting - Research technical accounting issues for compliance - prepare and finalize weekly payrolls as well as necessary payroll reporting - Support month-end and year-end close process - Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Designated Professional as a CPA - New grads with experience please apply - Experience is a must to be qualified for this role - Sage 300 a strong asset but training will be provided - Small company with multiple other companies you will be managing - Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures - Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation - Solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting - We are a small organization the Controller can be asked to assist managers in various tasks or duties. |
