Crane Operator

We are looking for a Crane Operator to join our team in Scarborough!

Our client is looking to grow its installation team as the company expands to serve clients across Canada.This role will provide you with the opportunity to work for a growing organization and be a meaningful part of the installation team that is building conveyors for internationally recognized companies. Successful applicants will also have the chance to receive relevant, transferrable training specific to the role. This role includes lots of overtime and may require to work night shift 

Location: Scarborough, ON
Time:7am to 5:30pm
Pay Rate:28-32/hr
Term: 1 year contract

Responsibilities:
· Operate crane to lift, move and position material for installation, specifically structural steel members.  
· Proven experience using medium to heavy articulating boom cranes.
· Physically able to operate and maneuver heavy and irregular loads.
· Perform pre-operational inspections, safety checks, test lifts and load chart calculations.
· Ability to communicate with assigned crews for lifts.
· May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
· Journeyman Mobile Crane ticket
· 3 – 5 years Crane Experience
· Class 1 Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Experience using a Broderson is preferred. 
· Mechanical aptitude
· Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
· Demonstrate exceptional customer service
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· May be required to work on a day or night shift
