Job Title: Custodian (Temporary)

Type: Temporary (Coverage for Vacation Leave)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17-18/hr
Dates: July 28 to August 8
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to provide coverage during a team member’s vacation. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Sanitize all high-touch areas twice daily

Clean and sanitize washrooms; mop floors, remove garbage, and restock supplies

Maintain cleanliness in lunchrooms and meeting rooms; sanitize surfaces, mop floors, empty garbage

Ensure entranceways are clean and presentable; clean glass doors, remove garbage, dust ledges

Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies in shared spaces (breakrooms, washrooms, locker rooms)

Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers

Handle waste removal, including garbage, recycling, and cardboard
Qualifications:

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred

Ability to operate motorized cleaning equipment safely

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Physically able to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move moderate loads
