Staffmax is assisting our Winnipeg client with the hire of a Customer Service Manager to facilitate their logistic operations and team. The successful candidate for this role will have proven experience in a leadership role.

Pay and Benefits:

  • $45,000-50,000 plus bonus based on profit 2x a year

Located near RRC Polytech/James Richardson Airport

This is a newly organized role within a developing team. If you enjoy molding teams and putting the pieces of the puzzle together to make a strong company this is for you! 

Must have prior job overhaul and development experience. 

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Managing a team of 12 plus a supervisor
  • Ensuring KPIs and metrics are within reason and reachable.
  • Calls with clients to ensure you are delivering the best service.
  • Claim approvals
  • Auditing and correcting departments as needed
  • Leading and supporting the team of customer service agents, returns agents, order entry and call centre agents in the management and preparation of the order and shipping process
  • Ensuring the submissions of proper documentation to the appropriate departments to complete process
  • Along with a Supervisor you will be overseeing and delivering onboarding as well as ongoing training to the Customer Service team
  • Managing workflow to the Customer Service team to ensure proper actioning of customer issues
  • Working with fulfillment
  • Handling and actioning customer complaints to correct departments and concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Working with the team to provide a professional, positive, and effective customer service experience to all clients

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience of at least 2 years Customer Service AND Logistic leadership position is required
  • A Business Administration or Accounting degree, or equivalent experience in the field, is an asset
  • Prior experience in delivery of coaching and training is essential
  • High degrees of accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Planning and organizing skills, particularly those related to workflow and organizational efficiency, are essential
  • Strong social and customer-service skills are required to interact with internal and external customers regularly throughout the day
  • High degree of skill with verbal and written communication is required
  • Strong negotiation skills are required
  • Strong ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, inventory management software is required
