Invoicing and Customs Clerk – immediate need

  • Enter in QuickBooks Enterprise Systems all invoices to record sales and account receivables.
  • Issue Proforma Customs invoice on the Customs website.
  • Prepare and issue accounts receivable statements and invoices to customers to assist in accounts receivable management and account reconciliation
  • Prepares all invoicing as well as US Customs paperwork for shipments going to the USA.
  • Daily preparation of the US customs documents for shipments going to the USA. This is critical and a good understanding of PST and the various GST and HST rates across Canada is a strong asset.
  • Experience with QuickBooks for invoicing is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail as mistakes cannot be made for US Customs paperwork or invoicing. They need to be able to look at paperwork and see if it makes sense.
  • We want someone who will ask questions and will want to learn. Able to resolve conflicts over the phone.
  • Strong math skills
  • Microsoft Excel as data entry is required. They do not need to know how to create formulas or tables.
  • This position will report to the Customer Service Manager

Hours and Benefits:

  • $40,000- $50,000 DOQ
  • Pension Plan
  • Vacation 2 weeks
  • 8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch and standard breaks.

  • All work will be in the office.
