Staffmax is hiring an experienced Dispatcher for a high-volume local logistics operation in Langley. This role is focused on managing daily pickup and delivery operations across British Columbia, coordinating a large driver fleet, and ensuring efficient and timely service.

Job Description:
Work Scope:
- 98–99% local dispatch across BC
- High daily volume: 150–200 deliveries/pickups
- No customs clearance involved
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and coordinate 20–40+ drivers (1-ton, 2-ton, 5-ton vans, dry vans, flatbeds)
- Plan and optimize daily local routes
- Monitor on-time performance and resolve delivery issues
- Communicate with drivers and support operational flow
- Manage fast-paced courier and cartage operations
- Ensure efficient load planning and scheduling
Schedule:
- Full-time,
- Early start, fast-paced operational environment
Compensation:
- $60,000 – $75,000 (3–5 years experience)
Requirements:
- 3–5 years experience in dispatching, logistics, supply chain, or customer service
- Strong preference for trucking industry experience (dispatch, driver, freight coordinator, or trucking office background)
- Understanding of HOS (Hours of Service), routing, and driver coordination
- Experience in local pickup & delivery / courier dispatch highly preferred
- Ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive operations
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly

- Experience in urban/local routing and traffic-aware dispatching
- Comfortable managing multiple drivers and tight schedules
- Able to “hit the ground running” in a fast-moving environment
