Position: Door Production Technician (Assembly / Fabrication)

Location: Rue Deschambault, Winnipeg, MB

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Staffmax is currently hiring a Door Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Winnipeg.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who enjoys working in a production environment and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products. This role involves the fabrication and assembly of custom door systems, requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare materials for door assembly using saws and other shop equipment
• Operate CNC machinery and process materials for fabrication
• Assemble custom door units according to specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and production specifications
• Inspect completed products to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and maintain production flow
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with hand tools and equipment in a manufacturing or shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measurements
• Pride in producing quality workmanship
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience operating CNC equipment is considered an asset
• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, millwork, door and window production, construction, or a related industry is an asset
• Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
