Drafting Technician

Staffmax is seeking a skilled and experienced Drafting Technical to join our team at our location in Henry Ave. The ideal candidate will have experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings and blueprints, as well as working with AutoCad and creating internal drawings. They will also be able to estimate projects and have relevant designations such as RRC grads of CET or drafting.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints from engineers and architect firms for acoustic tile manufacturing, wall elevations, etc.
• Use AutoCad to create and interpret shop drawings
• Create internal drawings and assist in estimating projects
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure accurate project completion

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and blueprints
• Proficient in AutoCad and creating internal drawings
• Relevant designations such as RRC grads of CET or drafting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Wage:

• $18.75 per hour
