Drywall Installer and Taper-Brampton

One of our clients is looking for Drywall Taper for Brampton and Richmond Hill location. We are looking for highly energetic, responsible, and professional individuals who are willing to progress within the company. This individual brings to the table years of experience and the necessary skills to perform tasks associated with the job description. This individual will be responsible for performing all drywall taping-related tasks on job sites and at times will be required to follow instructions communicated by site supervisors. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship as well as strong communication skills make up the core essentials of this individual.

Location: Brampton, ON
Pay Rate: $20 to 30/- per hour
Time: 8 am to 5 pm

Job Description

• Must have a minimum of 10 years construction related experience, 5 years of drywall taping experience.
• Must have a valid G class driver’s license.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
• Install of insulation, drywall and flooring
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs· Sustained periods of standing, sitting, bending, and kneeling
• Must provide a driver's abstract as well a criminal background check will be performed.
