The Project Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the ongoing implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Epicor) in a manufacturing setting
Our client is currently changing ERP in manufacturing systems and we are looking for a professional to join our existing project execution team and lead them to success.
The successful candidate will need to work closely with all team members and stakeholders to ensure functional requirements are met, document business processes and procedures in collaboration with the team, and ultimately ensure that project is executed on time, on specification, and on budget.
Project is halfway completed - expected 12-month term, longer a good possibility. Team of 6.
Compensation:
- $90-100,000
- 8 - 4:30 pm flexible
- Hybrid option
- Strong possibility of extension past 1 year
- Must be vaccinated
Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the implementation of ERP
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas of improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Manage competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of activities.
- Preparing business process documentation for use in solution design
- Maintaining project documentation for the project team, as well as management and leadership
- Maintaining project schedules, monitoring critical path activities, load level resources to ensure that the schedule is optimized and risks mitigated.
- Managing single or multiple projects according to our internal processes and ensuring that deliverables that have been agreed to are met.
- Implementing schedule recovery methodologies when unplanned events impact the schedule.
Must Haves:
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP software
- Fluency with Microsoft Project.
- Financial background
- Ability to lead a cross-functional project team.
- PMP certification is a strong asset
- Proven critical listening and interviewing skills in order to gather information from stakeholders.
- Notable project management experience.
- History of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Experience implementing ERP software.
- Experience managing projects in the manufacturing industry is preferred
