Staffmax, along with our client in Winnipeg, is seeking an ERP Applications Specialist.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled ERP Applications Specialist who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the stability, evolution, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems that support core business operations. A key initiative on the roadmap includes supporting the organization’s transition from Epicor to Infor in a year, offering a unique opportunity to play a hands-on role in a major ERP transformation.
Pay and Perks:
- $85,000 – 105,000/yr

What You’ll Do
- Own the health, performance, and ongoing optimization of enterprise ERP applications.
- Support and enhance the current Epicor environment, while contributing to planning, implementation, and stabilization of Infor as the future-state ERP platform.
- Design, configure, and support ERP functionality that aligns with business goals and operational needs.
- Diagnose and resolve application and production issues, providing timely and effective incident support.
- Safeguard data accuracy through validation processes and quality assurance controls.
- Support system enhancements, including upgrades, patches, integrations, and data migrations.
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and custom solutions to improve insight and efficiency.
- Apply strong business acumen to support functional areas such as finance, supply chain, manufacturing, service operations, and professional services.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to software development lifecycle best practices and mentor peers in secure coding standards.
- Participate in scheduled after-hours support to ensure system reliability and continuity.
What You Bring
- A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; certifications are an asset.
- Five or more years of progressive experience in information systems, application support, or ERP-focused roles.
- Hands-on experience with Epicor and/or Infor, with the ability to support ERP transition initiatives, is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills in SQL and C#, with solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and SSMS.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, is an advantage.
- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex information, identify patterns, and solve problems.
- Proven capability to gather requirements, map business processes, and support end-to-end project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business users, and leadership.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work successfully with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Onsite with flexibility in Winnipeg.
