As the Electrical Design Engineer you will receive:

Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, and drafting detailed specifications of electrical systems for process automation including loop drawings, PLC, DCS and Motor Control panels
- Creating and drafting sketches, and preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment
- Creating electrical design packages including detailed drawings, BOM's, assembly drawings and layouts
- Providing calculations, creating technical reports, solving technical problems, and is involved in the continuous improvement of design processes
- Interfacing with Project Managers and Project Engineers to prepare drawings, resolve electrical issues and implement changes as required
- Preparing final designs and specifications
- Maintaining design libraries
Must Haves:
- University or College Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Electrical Designer role
- Proficiency in Modelling/Drafting techniques and standards
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering theories and principles
- Ability to prepare designs and specifications for material and equipment needs of electrical
- Ability to prepare complex schematic drawings from rough sketches, survey data, and oral instructions
