Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the Ontario Electrical Code, government regulations, and company safety policies.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Troubleshoot and work on A-B PLCs, AC/DC drives, and other electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Prioritize and complete work orders, especially during equipment shutdowns.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure clear, legible documentation.
- Lead and collaborate with the team to meet project goals and uphold safety standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and electronic system faults.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
- Certification as a 309A Industrial Electrician.
- Electrical Engineering Technologist with 309A certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in computer usage and record-keeping.
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work on shifts.
- Comfortable working in environments exposed to noise and temperature fluctuations.

- Monitor and track equipment availability and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve electronic and electrical system issues to maintain smooth operations.
