Electronic Technician / Technologist

Staffmax is hiring an Electrician Technician/Technologist for fast paced production department with one of our clients in Mississauga. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please take a look at the list of qualifications below.

Location : Mississauga, ON 
Wage- $22-$22.50/hr. 
Time- Monday to Friday 8 am to 4pm. 
Benefits are after probation.

Duties: 

• Testing Units according to Test Procedures and recording Test Data.

• Assembling Units according to Standard Shop Procedures.

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and make required repairs and adjustments to keep machine in production.

• Assemble, align units and machines.

• Make sketches of replacement parts.

• knowledge of electronics including circuitry and components.

• Performs a variety of electrical trade functions, such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electrical energy.

• Assist in the maintenance of spare parts inventory.

• Install and maintain electrical and electronics systems of the plant and equipment.
  
  Assisting others in the department when required.

Qualification/ Skills Required 

• Must be able to operate a computer effectively.

• Good eyesight is essential.

• Good Hand tool skills.

• Good computer and organizational skills.

• Must be able to work individually or in a team environment. 

• Must have at least two (2) years industrial electrical experience and/or an electrical degree.

• Ability to perform moderate lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and in uncomfortable sitting or standing positions – often in cold, hot, and dusty environments.

• Must be willing to follow all safety rules and regulations including wearing safety equipment.

• Must be able to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets.

Education:
Must have Electronic Technical College Diploma/Degree.
